IOM Organizes Migration, Development Training For Iran Officials

Tehran, Oct 17, IRNA – International Organization for Migration (IOM), in collaboration with the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran, will organize a two-day workshop on “Enhancing Institutional Knowledge of Migration and Development Issues” in Ramsar City, in Mazandaran Province on October 22-23, 2012. The aim of the workshop, which will be attended by officials from the Ministries of Interior and Foreign Affairs, as well as immigration police officers, will be to enhance participants’ understanding of how to mainstream migration into development planning. This event - which has been developed in line with the preceding workshops – is funded by the government of Japan./end
