Iran-Russia Underline Expansion Of Cultural-Scientific Ties

Moscow, April 11, IRNA --- Iran and Russia, in a meeting of officials of the two countries, underlined necessity of bilateral efforts to expand ties in the fields of culture and science. In the meeting between Foreign Ministry Director General in Commonwealth States and Cacuses Affairs Mohammad Reza Morshedzadeh with Head of Russia's Cultuaral, Scientific and Educational Committee D.Z. Fedorovna in the venue of Russian Federation Council building here on Tuesday, the two sides also expressed Tehran and Moscow readiness for exchanging scientific and research experiences in different fields. Referring to historical relations and cultural, scientific and educational cooperation between Iran and Russia, the Russian side underlined importance of considering women role in the society, paying attention to kids and youngsters. The Iranian diplomat also underlined necessity of strengthening and expanding relations between the two countries, especially in the fields of culture, science and education as well as important position of women and family in Iran and importance of consolidation of family foundation.
