Iranian interference in Bahrain's affairs denounced

Manama, May 21 (BNA): Arab Parliament Speaker Dr. Mishaal bin Fahm Al-Salami has stressed the Arab Parliament' rejection of Iranian interference in the internal affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain represented in its sabotaging and sedition schemes, provocative statements and acts of aggression, as well as supporting terrorist groups and sowing sectarianism. He told Akhbar Al-Khaleej daily that his visit to Bahrain is at the invitation of the Council of Representatives Speaker Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al-Mulla, during which he will discuss challenges faced by Bahrain and the Arab Parliament's efforts to fight terrorism. He said he would deliver a speech at the Council of Representatives on Tuesday to reiterate the Arab Parliament's willingness to push forward with coordination and cooperation relations among Arab parliaments. He stressed keenness to promote Arab parliamentary action and cooperation, in addition to defend Arab causes in regional and international forums.
