Jaafari: The world Has Become More Responsive To Iraq's Issues

BAGHDAD / NINA / Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari said that the world today has become more responsive to the issues of Iraq and began to hear the voice of Iraq, which exceeded isolation through the UN support and the efforts of friendly countries and the speech of the Iraqi diplomacy that brought the current realities in Iraq honestly and mobilize the international community to His side.

For his part, the representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations confirmed that he would review, in the Security Council session to be held in the coming days, the great victories achieved by the armed forces, popular mobilization, fighters of the tribes, and the Peshmerga in their war against Daesh, and Iraqi military plans that take into account the protection of civilians and fighting terrorism with minimal losses.
He added that the world today is proud of what the Iraqis achieve in their war against the terrorists Daesh as they are fighting in defense of themselves and on behalf of the whole world, stressing that it will be discussed during the Security Council session in New York providing more support and humanitarian aid to the displaced families with the progress of the Iraqi forces in the liberation city of Mosul, as well as discussion to the reconstruction and stability of the liberated areas, and the Turkish violation to Iraqi territory.
