Jeenbekov stresses archival importance of Altaic Conference

Bishkek, Aug. 27, 2018. / Kabar /. President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov stressed the importance of the International Altaistic Conference, which started this morning in Bishkek. In his welcoming remark, he highlighted that its goals and objectives are of archival importance not only for those countries and peoples associated with the Altai civilization, but also for other peoples of the world. "The study of ancient history, customs and traditions, rich culture of the Altai civilization will serve to strengthen friendship between the states, the bridge of friendship between peoples. Relying on the commonality of our historical and cultural heritage, we must turn them into the main resource for the development of the Altai peoples," he said. He also drew attention to the fact that the 61st session of the Permanent International Altaistic Conference takes place in Kyrgyzstan as part of the Third World Nomad Games.
