KCNA Commentary Blasts S. Korean Regime's Confrontation Moves and Military Provocations

Pyongyang, November 16 (KCNA) -- The south Korean group of traitors have gone ever more reckless in their moves for escalating the confrontation with the fellow countrymen in the north and military provocations against it. South Korean puppet military warmongers issued what they called "commanding message" and inspected several units, getting more frantic with war drills against the north than ever before. Brass hats of the army and the navy are frequenting frontline units, claiming that "the north may pose threat and commit provocation" by taking advantage of "administration" vacuum and crying out for "round-the-clock watch posture." And the chief of the general staff of the air force called for "prompt counteraction" aboard a reconnaissance plane, kicking up war hysteria. All these moves were prompted by a foolish intention to seek a way out even through the escalation of confrontation with the fellow countrymen in the north and military provocations after being thrown into a political crisis caused by the worst power-backed scandal. Park Geun Hye is working hard to weather the worst ruling crisis under the pretext of "security crisis", talking about "emergency situation." This is what she inherited from her father. In actuality, the puppet military has declared an "emergency system" reminiscent of the situation on the eve of war under the pretext of the crisis of the regime and the "administration" vacuum. They simultaneously launched Chungmu drill for the latter half of 2016 allegedly aimed to "verify the effectiveness of the plan for civilians, officials and service members' wartime preparedness" and kicked off 2016 Hoguk rehearsal under the signboard of "coping with the north's provocation of a local war and all-out war" almost at the same time. They also staged a madcap airlifting drill and large-scale joint landing drill, kicking up war hysteria. They went the lengths of conducting a joint exercise with a British air force for the first time in history under the simulated conditions of making "precision strike" at the supreme headquarters of the DPRK and its major strategic targets.
