Khuzestan Province to collaborate with UNIDO

Ahwaz, Khuzestan Prov, March 15, IRNA – Iran's southwestern province of Khuzestan will collaborate with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), a local official said. Managing director of Khuzestan Water and Electricity Organization, Mohammad Reza Shamsaie, said his organization has signed an agreement with the UN body on joint cooperation. Based on the agreement, he said, the UNIDO is to provide assistance to the provincial organization on transfer of technology, human resources training, equipping and building small-scale hydro-electric power plants and greenhouse farming. The agreement was signed for Iran by Shamsaie and for UNIDO by its representative Alessandro Amadio.
