King congratulates Al-Najma Club

Manama, Feb. 15 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa sent a cable of congratulations to Al-Najma Club Chairman Isa Hassan Al-Qattan, board members, technical and administrative staff on winning HM the King’s Football Cup for 2017-18. Al-Najma defeated Muharraq by penalty shoot-out in the football final which was held this evening at the Bahrain National Stadium, to clinch the trophy. HM the King hailed the landmark performance, wishing Al-Najma Club more achievements in sport arenas. He also lauded the spirit of fair-play which prevailed between the two teams, which contributed to the success of the cup final.
