King Rama X's first postage stamp introduced

BANGKOK, July 28 (TNA) -- Thailand Post has made available the first postage stamp under the reign of King Rama X and received very warm welcome from general people. It is the special stamp to commemorate the 65th birthday anniversary of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun. The stamp depicts His Majesty the King wearing the Maha Chakri Boromratchawong Robes and bears His Majesty the King’s initials and golden descriptions of the stamp collection name, price and the word “Thailand”. The sale drew crowds of people to the Grand Postal Office in Bang Rak district, Bangkok, where there is an exhibition on the first postage stamps of six reigns The commemorative stamp of King Rama X is available at 10 baht apiece, and 20 baht per stamp with its envelop, at all post offices nationwide.
