KL Bonsai And Orchid Exhibition 2012 From March 23 To 27

KUALA LUMPUR, March 13 (Bernama) -- In conjunction with the Formula One in Sepang, the Kuala Lumpur Bonsai and Orchid Exhibition 2012 promises a world-class show when it is held from March 23 to 27. The event would be held for the first time at the Perdana Botanical Garden, said Kuala Lumpur Mayor Ahmad Fuad Ismail. "We feel that those who watch the Formula One will stop by (at the garden) in their free time where they can also learn ways to grow bonsai and orchids," he told a press conference here Tuesday. The exhibition is the brainchild of Ahmad Fuad to promote the Perdana Botanical Garden at international level. It would also feature several Real Madrid players such as Francisco Llorente, Michel Salgado and Fabio Cannavaro. Ahmad Fuad said visitors could also participate in other activities such as 'garden hunt', graffiti contest, among others. -- BERNAMA
