During the talks, the sides discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation and highly appreciated the partnership relations established between the two countries, based on mutual trust and sympathy between the two peoples. The head of the Cabinet emphasized that the Kyrgyz Republic is interested in developing and further strengthening relations with the United Arab Emirates and noted the high dynamics of the development of Kyrgyz-Emirati relations. "The activity of the intergovernmental commission occupies a key place in the further development and deepening of trade and economic cooperation between our countries," Zhaparov said. In turn, Abdullah bin Tuk Al-Marri expressed hope that the meeting of the intergovernmental commission would give a powerful impetus to accelerating the pace of cooperation between the two countries, both at the level of the public and private sectors. At a meeting of the intergovernmental commission in a narrow composition, the fact that Emirati companies, especially in recent years, have been actively investing in the economy of the Kyrgyz Republic, was highly appreciated. 9 documents signed following the working visit of President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov to the United Arab Emirates were noted as a key factor. In order to further develop and deepen trade, economic and investment cooperation, the importance of holding the 1st meeting of the Kyrgyz-Emirates Business Council was noted, which is an important condition for ensuring the desired level of dynamics of bilateral cooperation. The sides paid special attention to the implementation of large investment projects, in particular, close cooperation is currently underway with AD Ports Group in two areas - the reconstruction and construction of airports in the Kyrgyz Republic and the modernization of customs and border posts.
