Kyrgyz government abolishes the five-day registration of citizens of 92 foreign countries

Bishkek, December 19 / Kabar /. Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Zheenbekov signed a decree on registration of foreign citizens entering the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Kyrgyz government’s press service reports. The document provides a list of countries with an indication of the timing and order of stay of foreign citizens in the Kyrgyz Republic. The decree is taken in order to regulate the stay of foreign citizens in the country. Under the document the citizens of 92 foreign states are exempt from registration in the 5-day period. In early November Kyrgyzstan introduced compulsory registration of citizens of foreign states within 5 days, who enter the territory of the republic for more than 5 working days.
