Leadership's humanitarian role commended

Manama, June 5 (BNA): Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) chairman Khalid Al Moayed has received at Bait Al Tijjar a delegation from Egypt's 57357 Children’s Cancer Hospital Foundation headed by its chairman Dr. Amr Salama. Al Moayed congratulated Dr. Salama and the Children’s Cancer Hospital Foundation Egypt on winning Isa Award for Service to Humanity in its third edition, expressing pride in the hospital’s efforts in saving the lives of thousands of children suffering from cancer. He also underlined the internationally renowned award launched by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa in 2009, which is inspired by the generosity and philanthropy of the late Amir H.H Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa. Dr. Salama commended the Bahraini leadership on its pioneering role in the humanitarian cause, and expressed pride in winning the high-level award, he highlighted that the award will be used to enhance the capacity of the hospital.
