Make-A-Wish UAE fulfils wish of Emirati boy to meet his favourite football player Yasser Al Gahtani

Abu Dhabi, May 23, 2012 (WAM) - Make-A-Wish United Arab Emirates has fulfilled the wish of a 6 year old boy Emirati Abdullah to meet the Al Ain Football team player Yasser Al Gahtaini. The 6 year old boy loves football and is an Ainawi fan. Abdullah is currently being treated at SKMC from Leukaemia. His favourite colour is purple, and he loves to eat apples. His favourite TV show is Tom '&' Jerry and Batman. Like all little boys, he loves going to shop at Toys R Us. Abdullah attended the wish grant with his father, younger brother and two uncles. The wish began with meeting the Al Ain Football team at Khalifa training ground. Delighted Abdullah was so excited to meet all the team members on the pitch. He met his hero Yasser and kicked the ball to and fro with him on the football pitch. Abdullah received a round of applause from the whole team after his practice session. He also received a football signed by Yasser and had photos taken and interviews with his hero. After this, Abdullah went to the Al Ain Football shop and was allowed to choose anything he wished. He left with three big bags of goodies to take home with him. "We wish to thank everyone involved in making Abdullah's dream come true. The smile on his face truly opened all our hearts, to see such joy and happiness is truly the "Power of a Wish". His wish will continue when he will go and watch the team play a final game at the end of May." Led by H. H. Sheikha Sheikha bint Saif bin Mohammad Al Nahyan, wife of H. H.
