Malaysian PM Arrives Home From Hawaii

SEPANG (Malaysia), Nov 16 (Bernama) -- Prime Minister of Malaysia Najib Tun Razak arrived home Tuesday after attending the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum in Hawaii. The plane carrying Najib and his wife Rosmah Mansor landed at the KL International Airport (KLIA) Bunga Raya Complex here at 6.35pm. Among those who came to welcome them were leaders of the Barisan Nasional and non-governmental organisations. The prime minister joined leaders of other Asia-Pacific countries at the meeting hosted by United States President Barack Obama, to discuss the region's future economic direction. In Hawaii, Najib also attended the first Trans-Pacific Strategic Economic Partnership Agreement (TPP) with other leaders on Saturday, aside from bilateral talks with his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev. He also delivered a talk on the Global Movement of the Moderates at the East-West Centre, a renowned research and educational centre in Hawaii, and met with senior US leaders and APEC Chief Executive Officers. -- BERNAMA
