Malaysian PM's Wife To Attend Women At The Top 2012 Summit In Manila

SINGAPORE, Jan 6 (Bernama) -- Rosmah Mansor, the wife of the Malaysian prime minister, will be in Manila this Feb 23-24 for the Manila leg of the Women at the Top 2012 conference. In a statement, the organiser Arc Media Global said Rosmah would he delivering a keynote address entitled, "Leadership in a Cross-Cultural Environment" at the conference. It said Rosmah had taken on a lead role in the elevation of the status and empowerment of women in many organisations primarily through the Welfare Association of the Wives of Cabinet Ministers and Deputy Ministers (Bakti). Besides that, she is a staunch advocate of environmental concerns and was the first chancellor of the Industry University of Selangor (Unisel). The conference will highlight the progress in the lives of women around the world which is about breaking boundaries and barriers, and fostering relationships among the women leaders of Thursday.
