Malaysian Queen Receives Award From Government

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 27 (Bernama) -- Queen of Malaysia Tuanku Hajah Haminah on Thursday received the Darjah Utama Seri Mahkota Negara (D.M.N.) (Most Exalted Order of the Crown of the Realm) from the Malaysian government. The award was presented by Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak at an investiture ceremony at Istana Negara (National Palace). King Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah was present at the ceremony. Also present were the prime minister's wife Rosmah Mansor, Chief Justice Arifin Zakaria, Senate president Abu Zahar Ujang and Chief Secretary to the Government Mohd Sidek Hassan.
