MAS OPENS E-BOOKSTORE

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/ On the occasion of the World Book Day and World Intellectual Property Day, the Mongolian Academy of Sciences (MAS) opened its e-bookstore on April 25, launching its operation of website www.ac.mn. It allows to get information and buy books by Mongolian scientists, experts and researchers through this website. Present at the ceremony were MAS President D.Regdel, First Vice President G.Chuluunbaatar, MAS Secretary Sc.D B.Avid and representatives of scientists an experts. The MAS introduces digital system of the bookstore within the frames to develop the sector’s information management and upgrade the organization’s internal information system. It will be a unified database, which will improve ties between the MAS and users. MAS President D.Regdel said, “There are over 800 experts and researchers in the MAS. They produce about 150-170 publications a year. Opening this website will allow users to get interested information.” M.Unurzul
