MAYOR HOLDS MEETING ON WASTE-TO-ENERGY PLANT

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/ On March 2, S.Batbold, Governor of the Capital City and Mayor of Ulaanbaatar, met Cao Debiao, President of China TianYing Inc. They talked about Ulaanbaatar city’s urgent need of a comprehensive waste processing plant and cooperation opportunity in jointly implementing a waste-to-energy plant project Mr.Cao Debiao said that China TianYing Inc is a comprehensive waste solutions provider in investment, construction, operation and maintenance of plants for municipal solid waste incineration power generation, steam production sludge treatment, construction waste treatment as well as others. Around 1.4 million tons of waste is disposed annually in Ulaanbaatar, of which about 70 percent is buried in landfills whilst 20 percent is processed at treatment plants and some are exported to China.
