MECSS HOLDS CONSULTATIVE MEETING

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Sports (MECSS) held a consultative meeting with its foreign partner organizations on February 27. The consultative meeting aimed at formulating ‘Education Sector Master Plan 2020-2030’, discussing and launching the plan with contribution and support of its partner organizations. The MECSS organized conferences at all levels of educational organizations, involving their teachers, professors, researchers and administrative officials. The conferences resulted in a set of issues and recommendations to be reflected in policy and direction further. Based on the outcomes from the conferences, the MECSS formulated policies in four educational spheres and their priority objectives and introduced them to the consultative meeting attendees. Apart from that, the Ministry suggested some projects and programs to the foreign partner organizations in the frames of the policies. Some 40 representatives from over 20 foreign partner organizations have tookpart in the meeting exchanging information on projects and programs which were realized as well as future projects to be implemented.
