Minister receives company delegation

Manama, Feb. 14 (BNA): Electricity and Water Affairs Minister Dr. Abdulhussain Mirza received a delegation from Insomnia Consultancy which has been selected by the Sustainable Energy Unit to revamp its website with support from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). The minister outlined the design of the website and a plan of action required to achieve the objectives of the next phase. The company will formulate strategies for communication with citizens and residents to increase awareness about national plans and projects in the field of renewable energy and energy conservation, and provide steady information to develop the work of the Sustainable Energy Unit. This includes policies and initiatives included in national efficiency and renewable energy plans and Net Metering, which constitute the most important steps leading up to the uses and investments in renewable energy in Bahrain.
