Mohammed bin Rashid Award for World Peace, Global Peace Foundation sign MoU

The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for World Peace has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Global Peace Foundation to contribute to the development of peace partnerships. A signing ceremony was held earlier this month in Northern Ireland during the Global Peace Leadership Conference Belfast 2016, organised by the Washington-based foundation. The development of peace partnerships is a key strategic and sustainable objective driven by the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and a strong belief in the need for building bridges between civilisations and global peace organisations, Dr. Hamad Al Shaibani, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for World Peace, noted. http://www.wam.ae/en/news/emirates/1395300058977.html
