Mongolian Ambassador to Germany attends MIBA trade fair
Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to Germany Ts.Bolor took part in the opening ceremony of “MIBA” trade fair in Ingolstadt, Germany on April 1. In his speech, Ambassador Ts.Bolor gave the guests short introduction about Mongolia and expressed his willingness to cooperate in all sectors. Marcel Huber, State Minister and Head of the State Chancellory of Bavaria, Christian Loesel, Mayor of Ingolstadt city, and Heinrich Sandner, Chief organizer of the “MIBA” trade fair delivered speeches during the ceremony.
A feature, that gathered the attention of the guests and the public, was definitely the Mongolian stand and performances of ‘Khukh Mongol’ ensemble. Officials who participated in the opening ceremony proceeded directly to the Mongolian Ger, in which they had a chance to taste Mongolian culinary specialties and enjoy ‘Khukh Mongol’ showpiece.
Mongolian wool and cashmere were presented and retailed. Mongolian poet P.Gangaamaa displayed her own books as well as Mongolian literature works translated into German. Moreover, brochures about tourism of Mongolian and “MIAT” airline company were distributed to the public.
This year’s 26th MIBA trade fair covers 30 thousand square meters in 13 halls in which around 400 companies and enterprises are presenting their products and advertising their services. The trade fair will continue from April 1 to April 9 and around 80 thousand guests are expected to attend and visit stands for trade, service, craft, food, construction, health and agriculture sectors. Location of the trade fair rotates annually and is organized as “DONA” in Regensburg and “UFRA” in Schweinfurt. It is the third largest exhibition in Bavaria following trade fairs in München and Nürnberg.
