Mongolians in Saint Petersburg confirmed safe

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A terrible unfortunate event, which claimed 11 lives and left 47 wounded, fell on April 3 at the subway station of the Institute of Technology of Saint Petersburg, Russia. In connection with the incident, described as a ‘terrorist act’ by the Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, the Mongolian Embassy to the Russian Federation has immediately contacted the Mongolian citizens residing in Saint Petersburg and has taken necessary actions. They have received information that no Mongolian has fallen victim to the alleged attack. About 300 Mongolian citizens, most of whom are students, are currently living in Saint Petersburg, reports the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia.
