More airlines to fly new routes to Laos

BANGKOK, December 10 (TNA) - Thai Airways International, including Lao Air, Lao Central Airlines and Bangkok Airways are introducing new direct routes to the Lao capital of Vientiane, where the local economy has been boosted by soaring growth in tourism. Lao PDR is a key member country of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), and has been accelerating infrastructure development to cater for the economic development and the local tourism industry.
