Morocco outlines its stance

Rabat, June 12(BNA): Moroccan Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Nasser Bourita met Bahraini and Egyptian Ambassadors Khalid bin Salman Al-Musallim and Dr. Ahmed Ehab Jamaluddine. Saudi and UAE Charges d’Affaires Waleed Muqeem and Said Al-Kutbi have also attended the meeting. Bourita welcomed the envoys, hailing strong fraternal relations binding his country with Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Egypt. He reviewed with them the statement which was issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation regarding the decision which was taken by their countries to sever diplomatic relations with Qatar. The minister said that the Kingdom of Morocco understands the steps and motives underpinning that decision to cut diplomatic ties.
