Nasser bin Hamad stresses strength of Bahrain’s democracy

Manama, Nov. 13 (BNA): His Majesty the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa extended his congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on the success of the parliamentary and municipal elections. Democracy in Bahrain, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has added another success to its long-standing series of achievements with the record 73% turnout in the elections, which enhances Bahrain’s democratic progress, integrity and transparency, HH Shaikh Nasser said. "We hailed the continuous efforts and directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to provide the highest levels of organization, accuracy and smoothness in the electoral process procedures," he said. Any observer of the voting process is fully aware of the integrity, transparency and good organization of the elections, which makes us all proud of the great and active participation of the loyal people of Bahrain from different sects and ages, he added. "It embodies Bahrainis’ patriotism, responsibility, and loyalty to leadership and the Kingdom, and their keenness to develop Bahrain and achieves prosperity in various fields." HH Shaikh Nasser emphasized that Bahrain is witnessing more days of prosperity and progress in light of the vision of HM the King.
