National cadres development initiative welcomed

Manama, Feb. 18 (BNA): Minister of Labour and Social Development, Jamil bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, today received a delegation from Bahrain Initiatives Society (BIS) led by President Othman Sharif Al Rayes. Al Rayes expressed appreciation of the minister’s patronage of the first discussion forum on the Bahraini First Initiative. He gave an overview of the BIS plans to stimulate partnership with NGOs to achieve Bahrainisation in the Labour Market service and productive sectors, promote sustainable development programmes and initiatives to encourage youth creativity. Al Rayes invited the minister to patronize the second version of the same to be held in May, which will discuss the development of cadres of charity society. The minister welcomed the invitation and stressed support for BIS goals, noting the NGOs’ support for the national development projects. He commended the Bahraini First Initiative that meets the business owners' needs of the qualified Bahraini cadres.
