NEW HOSPITAL TO BE BUILT AT MNUMS

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Structural works have been completed for a hospital at the Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences (MNUMS). The hospital will be built in Bayanzurkh district with a non-refundable aid of MNT 174 billion and 400 million from the Japanese Government, and the hospital is expected to open in July of 2018. The new hospital will be able to serve for over 180 thousand people a year and hospitalize 4,300 patients. Moreover, the hospital will operate 2,060 surgeries, and 150 doctors will be employed to make diagnosis with tomography, MRI and angiography for almost 9,000 people a year. By a decision of the Government and Parliament, funds for the hospital’s current and construction expenses will be placed in the 2018 state budget. B.Batchimeg
