NEW PROGRAM TO ENCOURAGE CREATIVE CHILDREN LAUNCHED

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A program ‘Creative Future of Mongolia – Let’s Learn Technology’ has launched at the initiative of representative of the Citizen’s Representative Meeting Ts.Baigalmaa.
The program being realized by the National Institute of Technology of Japan has an aim to support creative children in Ulaanbaatar city.
In the scope of the program, an event ‘My First Robot’ was organized among middle-class pupils of the Junior Center for Creative Arts. Teachers and students from the National Institute of Technology, Miyakonojo College participated in the event to teach the pupils how to assemble robot.
Participated pupils challenged their brain and gained knowledge, assembling a self-moving robot with sense of touch in three hours.
Initiator of the program Ts.Baigalmaa said that it is important to pay special attention to bringing up children who are interested in technology as engineers so that they can innovate and contribute to development of the country in the future.
“So, we organized this event to encourage children studying at the Junior Center for Creative Arts. Innovative and scientific generation can solve the pressing issues that we are facing today and determine the future of the country,” highlighted Ts.Baigalmaa.
