No Malaysian Students Affected In A Tornado At Kentucky And Ohio

From Hafizah Kamaruddin NEW YORK, March 5 (Bernama) -- All Malaysian students in Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio are not affected by a tornado that struck the areas two days ago, said Malaysian Consul-General in New York Syed Mohamad Bakri Syed Abdul Rahman. He said the Malaysian Students Department (MSD) in Washington so far had not received any reports involving Malaysian students in the disaster, and advised the parents to not worry about their children here. Malaysian students who have problems following the tornado can contact the MSD and Malaysia Consulate office, he told Bernama and RTM (Radio Televisyen Malaysia) at his office. CNN USA on Saturday reported that a devastating storm system moved across the United States on Friday, spawning a slew of tornadoes that contributed to at least 28 fatalities in Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio. -- BERNAMA
