One Universe exhibition combines poetry with calligraphy

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Union of Mongolian Writers, Junior Center for Creative Arts and Community of Tuv aimag have co-organized a calligraphy exhibition named ‘One Universe’ in the building of the Junior Center for Creative Arts. Displaying the beauty of Mongolian calligraphy combined with creativity, the exhibition demonstrated the talent of children taking brush writing classes at the Junior Center for Creative Arts. “I am happy to say that the number of children interested in learning calligraphy is increasing”, says D.Ganbaatar, a teacher at the center. More than 70 pupils are taking calligraphy class at the center this year, and the exhibition is planned to be organized annually. Featuring the calligraphy versions of famous poetry works by over 40 famous Mongolian writers including D.Natsagdorj, Ch.Lodoidamba, Ch.Chimid, Ch.Lkhamsuren, B.Lkhagvasuren, Sh.Surenjaw, Sh.Dulmaa, D.Tsoodol, O.Dashbalbar and more, the exhibition closes today.
