Pakistan President Arrives In Dushanbe

Dushanbe, March 26, IRNA – Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari, heading a high ranking delegation, arrived in Dushanbe on Saturday evening to attend world Nowrouz festivity as well as fifth meeting of Afghanistan economic cooperation. He was officially welcomed by Tajikistan President Emomali Rakhmon in Mellat Palace and they hold the first round of negotiation. Zardari is scheduled to meet with Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Afghan counterpart Hamid Karzai and discuss issues of mutual interest with them. The third world Nowrouz festivity will be held in Dushanbe on Sunday./end
