Panudiana Kuhn Appointed Malaysia's Honorary Consul In Bali, Bahar Ngitung In Makassar

JAKARTA, Nov 20 (Bernama) -- Malaysian Ambassador to Indonesia Zainal Abidin Bakar Friday presented letters of appointment to two honorary consuls of Malaysia in Bali and Makassar. Dr Panudiana Kuhn, 68, a businessman in Indonesia, was appointed as the Honorary Consul of Malaysia in Bali, while Dr H Bahar Ngitung, 63, a former member of the South Sulawesi District House of Representatives was appointed as the Honorary Consul of Malaysia in Makassar. "I hope our honorary consuls in Bali and Makassar can create a bridge to further strengthen the friendship between the two countries," said Zainal Abidin during the ceremony held at the Malaysian Embassy in Jakarta, Friday. Panudiana and Bhar Ngitung have been appointed for three years and will play an important role in helping to safeguard the interests of Malaysians in the provinces. -- BERNAMA
