Partnerships to make Bahraini Women's Day successful

Manama, May 24 (BNA): Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Women, Hala Al-Ansari, stressed keenness to promote partnership with government institutions to celebrate Bahraini Women's Day in engineering field, as well as supporting them in various sectors to overcome challenges they may counter. This came as Al-Ansari chaired the first meeting of the government sector's executive committee for celebrating Bahrain Women's Day 2017. The meeting reviewed Bahraini women's participations in the engineering sector. It also discussed the committee's role in following up the general plan and activities of the Bahraini Women's Day. The committee comprises President of University of Bahrain, Dr. Riyadh Hamza, , representatives from Housing Ministry, Transportation and Telecommunication Ministry, National Oil and Gas Authority, Works Ministry, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning, in addition to a number SCW female members.
