PEOPLE DONATING FOR WILDFIRE EXTINGUISHING OPERATIONS AND FIGHTERS

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ People are worried about the wildfires spread throughout the country and giving donations for extinguishing operations and fire fighters. A group to support fire fighters was established on social media platform and has been organizing a volunteer campaign, collecting food, bottled water and tools for fire extinguishing from yesterday. Cash donation is said to have reached MNT30.3 million and the first donations of items and goods have been brought to some wildfire sites. The National Emergency Management Agency announced an official bank account for the donation, as many citizens and entities offered their support and donations.
