PM Erdogan speaks with Russian counterpart Putin by phone

-ANKARA (A.A) - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan had a phone conversation with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin on Thursday. Sources said that Putin wished Erdogan quick recovery after a recent surgery and also wished him a happy new year. Putin thanked Erdogan for an agreement signed in Moscow on the South Stream Natural Gas Pipeline Project and expressed his pleasure over the cooperation and dialogue between Turkey and Russia. Erdogan told Putin that Turkey was pleased with the strong bilateral relations with Russia. Erdogan wished Putin a happy new year as well.
