PM leads people to celebrate HM the Queen's birthday

BANGKOK, Aug 13 (TNA) -- Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-ocha on Saturday led people from all subjects in celebrating the 85th birthday of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit at Bangkok’s Dusit Palace Royal Plaza. Accompanied by his wife, cabinet ministers, military and laymen, Gen Prayut chaired the candle-lighting ceremony to bless Her Majesty the Queen of King Bhumibol. He then delivered a blessing message on behalf of the Thai people followed by a chanting of “Long Live the Queen” thrice. Gen Prayuth later watched the concerts and the Thai traditional royal costume fashion show performances, organised to honour the beloved queen. (TNA)
