POC 2020 Cancelled Due To Covid-19

KUALA LUMPUR, April 4 (Bernama) -- Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Bhd (BMD) Monday announced the cancellation of the Palm and Lauric Oils Price Outlook Conference & Exhibition (POC) 2020 which was scheduled to take place June 22-24, 2020, due to uncertainties surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic. BMD chairman Muhamad Umar Swift said the decision was made in consideration of the health and safety of attendees. "It is with sincere regret that we have to cancel this year’s POC. We have been closely monitoring the situation and assessed that this is the best way to proceed, given the uncertainties of the global pandemic. "We are immensely grateful for the continued support shown by our participants, sponsors and partners," he said in a statement Monday.
