Power Production Increased in DPRK

Pyongyang, September 15 (KCNA) -- The workers at minor hydraulic power stations in Kangwon Province of the DPRK have boosted productivity by enhancing their own technical forces. Officials and employees at the Munchon Army-People Power Station made and installed new types of condensers and blowers and successfully solved the complicated technical problems to remodel the cooling system in a short span of time. The Ichon Army-People Power Station perfected the speed regulators and circuit breakers more efficiently to carry out its daily production plan by 120 percent. The Kosan Army-People Power Station No. 2 conducts checking as required by technical regulations and systematically increases the efficiency of generators. Other minor hydraulic power stations also boosted their production. -0-
