Premier Inspects Industrial Establishments in Tokchon Area

Pyongyang, March 27 (KCNA) -- Premier Pak Pong Ju, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and vice-chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK, made a field survey of several units in Tokchon area. Going round different parts of the Sungri Motor Complex whose officials and workers are speeding up the production of new-type trucks, the premier encouraged them waging a strenuous onward drive while overcoming obstacles and difficulties by their own efforts and technology. At a field consultative meeting, measures were taken to settle the matters arising in accelerating the modernization of the complex and develop world-level trucks in Korean style. He also inspected the Tokchon Coal-mining Machine Factory and the Wolbong Coal Mine of the Tokchon Area Coal-Mining Complex and discussed the issues of producing more equipment and small tools and increasing the coal production. -0-
