Premier receives Qatari Amir's personal representative

Doha, Mar. 1 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at his residence at the Al-Marmar Palace here today, Shaikh Jassim bin Hamad Al-Thani, the Personal Representative to the Qatari Amir. HRH Premier expressed delight at visiting the State of Qatar, noting that his visit provided him with an opportunity to discuss the solid deep-rooted bilateral relations and ways to broaden joint cooperation to meet the aspirations of the two brotherly peoples. HRH Premier affirmed that the steady progress of the Bahraini-Qatari relations embodies the interest of the two countries to set up an effective model for cooperation in various fields. The meeting focused on the distinguished fraternal relations between the two countries and ways to open up new horizons of bilateral cooperation that benefit the two countries and their brotherly peoples. Shaikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani welcomed HRH Premier's visit to the State of Qatar, which, he said, reflects the love and fraternity between the leaderships and peoples of the two countries. He stressed that the visit will upgrade the level of bilateral cooperation at all levels and in various fields. He commended HRH the Prime Minister's efforts to develop cooperation among the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council, which, he added, embodies the Premier's far-sighted vision, statesmanship and support to complementarity among GCC states and peoples. He also lauded the role played by HRH the Prime Minister in the progress boom witnessed by the Kingdom of Bahrain in various fields.
