Premier thanked by Egyptian President

Manama, June 4 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received a cable of thanks from Egyptian President Abdelfattah El-Sisi in reply to his cable of condolences on the victims of the terror attack which targeted a number of Christian pilgrims in Minya province. The Egyptian President strongly condemned the heinous incident which asserts that terrorism is a despicable enemy that has no religion or homeland and that seeks to spread destruction in order to achieve obnoxious goals that undermine the state’s capabilities and people’s unity. He lauded Bahrain’s honourable stances towards Egypt and its people and its strong support in this critical phase in which the region is facing grave challenges which require concerted international efforts to root out extremism and terrorism. The Egyptian President wished Bahrain and its people constant prosperity and security.
