Preparatory meeting on Bahraini Women's Day held

Manama, June 6 (BNA): President of Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, today received a delegation from the Supreme Council for Women led by Secretary-General Hala Al Ansari in preparation for the celebrations of Bahraini Women's Day to be held in December. On the sidelines of the meeting, Shaikha Mai Al Khalifa said the BACA's participation, as an active partner in Bahrain celebrations of Bahraini Women's Day 2017, reflects her confidence in the role of women in building prosperous communities. She stressed the importance of cooperation between government and private bodies to promote community work that enhances the status of Bahraini individual.
