President Attends Editor-In-Chief Forum's Nationhood Congress

Jakarta, Dec 11 (Antara) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono attended the Nationhood Congress organized by the Editor-in-Chief Forum on Wednesday. Yudhoyono delivered the keynote speech at the Congress, held on Dec. 10 and 11. The head of state also received an eight-point commitment of nationhood on the occasion. Speakers at the congress included House Speaker Marzuki Alie, Chairman of the Regional Representative Council (DPD) Irman Gusman, Head of the State Audit Agency (BPK) Hadi Moeldoko and Chief of the Constitutional Court (MK) Hamdan Zoelva. Other speakers included leaders of political parties, such as Wiranto from the People`s Conscience (Hanura) Party, Anis Matta from the Justice and Prosperous Party (PKS), Fadli Zon of the Greater Indonesia Movement (Gerindra) Party and Puan Maharani of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP).
