President Jeenbekov arrives in Turkmen capital

Bishkek, Aug. 23, 2018 / Kabar /. President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov has arrived today in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan for a state visit, the President’s press service reported. At Ashgabat international airport a guard of honor was built, flags of two countries were hung out. The Kyrgyz leader was met by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov. Within the framework of the state visit, President Jeenbekov will meet with President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow. A number of documents are expected to be signed, including the Declaration on Strategic Partnership between the Kyrgyz Republic and Turkmenistan. Tonight, President Sooronbay Jeenbekov will fly to the city of Turkmenbashy to attend the Summit of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea, scheduled for Aug. 24. http://kabar.kg/eng/news/president-jeenbekov-arrives-in-turkmen-capital/
