Prime Minister visits Bapco stand at GIF 2018

Manama, Feb. 6 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa today visited the Bahrain Petroleum Company Bapco’s stand at the Gulf Industry Fair (GIF) 2018, which is being held under his patronage from February 5 to 8 at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Conference Centre. Upon arrival at Bapco stand, HRH the Prime Minister was welcomed Oil Minister and Chairman of the Board of Bapco, Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa.  Senior oil and gas sector officials, Bapco’s board members and management were also present.  HRH the Prime Minister was presented with a gift, a Bapco classic camera of great historic value, reflecting the deep appreciation of the board Chairman and members, the executive management and all employees for the valuable role assumed by HRH the Prime Minister in fostering Bapco’s growth and progress.  Bapco is a regular participant in this event as part of its ongoing commitment to enhancing its local and global presence as a key leader in the oil sector.  GIF attracts a large number of international representatives and high officials in the industry.  Bapco has recently renewed its status as Strategic Sponsors of Gulf Industry Fair 2018, and will continue to emphasise on the energy and environmental protection sectors.
