PROJECTS WITH ‘LEAVING NO ONE BEHIND’ PRINCIPLE TO CONTINUE

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On February 28, a meeting focused on projects for ‘Leaving No One Behind’ has taken place at the Ministry of Health. Issues discussed during the meeting include outcomes of the projects, achievements and further challenges to implement the projects in 2018. In 2018, a project themed ‘Broadening mobile health services in first aid and public services’ will be continued and it will be implemented in three aimags and two districts within Leaving No One Behind principle. The project is being realized with technical assistance of the Ministry of Health, the Korean Foundation for International Healthcare (KOFIC) and financial assistance of the Korea Foundation. Within the project, mobile health technology has been used in home health service, which could become an exemplary method for Mongolia and other countries. In the scope of the project, 25 types of equipment worth to MNT 410 million were distributed to 12 health organizations and 45 specialists and physicians involved in professional development training in 2017. Besides, 35737 people underwent preventive check-ups and individual indicators of health status of 17188 people was collected on data system.
