Protest action in Adana, 12 detained

Azerbaijan, Baku, June 24 / Trend / A group of people which gathered n the Turkish city of Adana in protest in connection with the events in Istanbul Gezi Park, was cordoned off by the police, Anadolu agency reported. The group intended to continue moving toward the park of Ataturk. Despite warnings from police the protesters did not stop the movement. As a result, the security forces had to intervene in the action. 12 people were detained after a brief confrontation between police and protesters.
