RCO chief receives Moroccan ambassador

Manama, Feb. 7 (BNA): Royal Charity Organisation (RCO)’s Secretary-General Dr. Mustafa Al Sayed has received Ambassador of Morocco to Bahrain, Ahmad Rachid Khattabi. Dr. Al Sayed briefed the Moroccan ambassador about the RCO's history, numbers of orphans and widows sponsored by His Majesty the King, beneficiary categories, the services provided to families, in addition to catering children’s educational, health and social needs. The RCO chief reviewed the Organisation’s projects in various fields, including humanitarian relief to disaster-afflicted sisterly and friendly countries, at the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa the Honorary President of the Royal Charity Organisation, led by His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa the representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Organisation’s Board of Trustees. The ambassador praised the Royal patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and his compassionate paternal care to the orphans and widows and supporting philanthropic, humanitarian work around the world. The ambassador also praised the Royal Charity Organisation (RCO)’s efforts led by His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa in perfectly, professionally, capably and efficiently implementing this humanitarian, charitable work and delivering assistance to the needy people in disaster-stricken countries in various humanitarian conditions.
